Hair, what hair??

Neither of my kids were born with really any hair. Heck Alex did not have his first haircut until he was 2 because he did not have enough hair to cut until then. So, I was not shocked when Isabelle did not have any hair yet. But, I just got some of the most beautiful bows from a great friend of mine and can not wait to have her wear them. Spring 2010

So, nothing says Spring like nice weather. And since we umm forgot to get the kids birthday pictures done we decided to go out and get some "family" photos done. Isabelle and Alex had a blast and here are just a few of the pictures, I hope that you enjoy them.

 

Updates....

Ok, so I really suck at remembering to post on the blog. Major fail, I know. So let me get you up todate on what has been going on.

Isabelle turned 1!!!!!
Yes, it is even hard for me to believe. But, here she is looking cute as ever at her birthday party.

Christmas 2009!!!
And just a few days later both of the kids were able to really enjoy Christmas ( not that Isabelle did not enjoy her first Christmas last year, I think that she really enjoyed all of the sleep she got that day :o) )

New Years Eve 2009!!!
There is not much really to say here. Heck, I couldn't even stay up long enough to ring in the new year. But, I was able to get a much needed mommy make over. Ok so all I did was get my hair done, but hey it counts. Here is a photo of Dan and I at my nephews first birthday party (he turned one on new years eve)

And I think that gets us up todate!!! I promise to be better about posting this year.

I am still in shock that my baby boy just turned 4 on monday!!!! How could it be four whole years already??? Well while I try to figure out how this happened so quickly here are some pictures from his birthday party. Enjoy!!!! :o)

9 Months...

So we had Isabelle's 9 month check up last week and needless to say she is still small. Everything checked out fine, she is at the top of the pack when it comes to her motor skills and development but is only 40 percentile on the growth charts. Meaning that 60% of children her age are bigger then her, yep she takes after her mommy. And to celebrate we had steak for dinner, ok she did not have any steak but she sure loved the mashed potatoes.

Me.. Ooh My

Where does the time go?? I still can not believe that my baby girl is almost 9 months old or that my little man will be 4 next month. Where have I been, it seems like just yesterday I was a Baby Making Machine. I have been very blessed by God with the gift of these two great children. Sure they may seem to think that it is funny to wake mommy up at 5 am on her day off, or think that 9pm is too early for them to go to sleep. But, for the most part they are two very easy and wonderful children. We had a small photo shoot this morning after breakfast so I thought that I would share some pictures.

I can't wait to see what the future brings, but I know that it will be a blast!!!

Camping, The Fair and Parks Oh My

We have had a busy last couple of weeks. First Isabelle had her first camping trip, she did not seem to be very impressed. Then we went to our local county fair Alex had a blast on the rides.

And what would a trip to the fair be without a ride down the Big Slide???

But don't worry not to be outdone Isabelle made sure to have a bunch of fun at her first play date / picnic at the park. Oh the fun that was had by all.

I think that Dan had a hard time getting her out of them.

And Monkey Boy, err I mean Alex had a blast climbing up and down everything.

What are the next few weekend to bring??? Good question, but what ever it is I know that we will have a blast!!! :o)

And another one bites the dust....

So Lil Isabelle has learn so much in the last few days. Good news is she can now pull herself up completely on things, the bad news is she also now knows when not to let go.

What a nice little bump on her noggin!!!

But don't worry that did not stop her from climbing up mommy when I got home from work. :o)

"Me Time" meets giveaways

So my "Me Time" today was spent looking at giveaways. Yes I know it is the small things in life that get me going. But I came across this great giveaway that can finally help me do something with these boring cream colored walls that Dan will not let me paint. Restful Sunday

So every once in a while I let myself have a lazy day. Today is that day... The laundry can wait another day, the dishes are not going anywhere and I can always wash the windows another day.

What you may ask will I do all day???? Spend much needed time with the family, and maybe even have a little "me time". The first part of the day has gone well so far, I and A both woke up at 6 am so we had a nice quite morning to enjoy.

What is next you may ask.... well that is not even known to me. I will just go with the flow today and enjoy every minute of it.

What about Wednesday

So to start off my first blog I thought what would be better then talking a little about me. I am the mother of two wonderful children, Alex who will be 4 in October and Isabelle who just turned 7 months, have been happly married to my husband Daniel for 5 years. I was born and raised in Oregon and my sister is my best friend.
